It was a busy week for the Alliance as theaters reopened with films like “Unhinged” and “Words on Bathroom Walls” being screened. Minnesota film writers and podcasters didn’t just focus on those two flicks, though.

Kelly Florence and Meg Hafdahl
On the Horror Rewind podcast, Florence and Hafdahl talked about the anthology TV series “Channel Zero.”
Joseph Froemming
On The Joe Down, Froemming and company reviewed the comic book flick “Venom” with Tom Hardy. Froemming’s site also featured a podcast review of the 2003 film “Timeline.”
Paul McGuire Grimes
In the last week for Paul’s Trip to the Movies, Grimes reviewed the romance films “Chemical Hearts” and “Words on Bathroom Walls.”
Eric Houston
For his Every Movie Ever series, Houston reviewed the short film “Hearts Want,” which was written and produced by fellow MNFCA member Ruth Maramis.

At the Duluth News Tribune, Lavine wrote about local theaters reopening in northern Minnesota.
